Flying
Posted February 23, 2010
on:I haven’t seen a design at Shirt.Woot that I just had to have in a long, long time. When I saw “Flying” by ilovedoodle late last night, I immediately hit the “I want one!” button. Being a huge fan of ilovedoodle, I’ve been waiting to see this print for some time now, and I’m glad that it finally happened!
Reasons why I think that this tee is awesome:
- I love ilovedoodle.
- I like happy characters and the whale is smiling like it’s having the best day of its entire life.
- Penguins are awesome, especially Emperor penguins.
- Turtles are also cool because I automatically think about Squirt from Finding Nemo. If you don’t know who he is, Google him. He’s adorable.
- Penguins are finally “flying” in this illustration. There is hope for these flightless birds, after all!
- I only have about 3 heather grey tees in my entire t-shirt collection. Very sad.
Go pick up a copy of “Flying” at Shirt.Woot before time runs out! It’s only $10 and you can get free shipping if you go with the slower option. I can’t wait to receive mine!

Since when did Blue Whales get into law enforcement? I wouldn’t risk committing a crime now because that’s one gigantic policeman. Looks like the tides have turned for this Killer Whale. If he makes a wrong move, he’ll be the one to leave injured, despite his name. Recently printed at Tilteed, “Stop or My Whale Will Shoot” by Jublin is a design concept that I never would have visualized. I wonder what the inspiration was for this one of a kind illustration. I can’t wait to wear this tee and see people’s reactions! If you are digging this odd but unique design like I am, you can pre-order it at Tilteed for the low price of $12 until Tuesday. Also, don’t forget to use the coupon code LovingThisTee at checkout to get $2 off your purchase!
Whale of a Bath Time!

on:“Whale of a Bath Time!” by Marco a.k.a Smoking has caught my eye ever since it went up for voting at Threadless. It earned a 3.41 out of 5 over 4 months ago. Why it hasn’t been printed there, I do not know. I have been waiting and waiting to see it get printed and was pleasantly surprised when it debuted in this week’s Teextile lineup.
