Sven Palmowski aka a.mar.illo brings us a gorgeous piece today at Shirt.Woot, titled “Mammoth Trees.” It has definitely been a while since a piece has caught my eye over on that site, so I’m glad to be able to post about it today. The mammoths are so beautifully camouflaged in the trees. Just look at those details!

You can purchase “Mammoth Trees” at Shirt.Woot for $10 today, and $15 after today (until it is reckoned).

I knew it! Normal distributions don’t really exist at all. They’re just a big lie to hide the fact that these graphs are all 2-dimensional sauropods. Why must you cover up the fact that there are dinosaurs in bell curves, professors? Now that we know how they’re actually supposed to look, I say we liven up stats class with these true representations. If they look this awesome, they must be accurate, right?

If you like what you see, then pick up “The Extended Bell Curve” by Tang Yau Hoong for $10 at Shirt.Woot before midnight Central Time!

I haven’t seen a design at Shirt.Woot that I just had to have in a long, long time. When I saw “Flying” by ilovedoodle late last night, I immediately hit the “I want one!” button. Being a huge fan of ilovedoodle, I’ve been waiting to see this print for some time now, and I’m glad that it finally happened!

Reasons why I think that this tee is awesome:

  1. I love ilovedoodle.
  2. I like happy characters and the whale is smiling like it’s having the best day of its entire life.
  3. Penguins are awesome, especially Emperor penguins.
  4. Turtles are also cool because I automatically think about Squirt from Finding Nemo. If you don’t know who he is, Google him. He’s adorable.
  5. Penguins are finally “flying” in this illustration. There is hope for these flightless birds, after all!
  6. I only have about 3 heather grey tees in my entire t-shirt collection. Very sad.

Go pick up a copy of “Flying” at Shirt.Woot before time runs out! It’s only $10 and you can get free shipping if you go with the slower option. I can’t wait to receive mine!

Although I wish that most of the cartoon characters within this piece did not face this kind of death, “Toony Fish” by ste7en is quite a creative design. I’m guessing that ste7en has something against Spongebob Squarepants, as all of the main characters (minus Sandy the squirrel) are found inside the can. Poor Patrick has King Triton’s trident stuck in his back, for crying out loud! It also appears as though King Triton ended up killing his own daughter, which doesn’t exactly make sense. What a horrible father! Inside this can of Toony Fish, you will also find characters from one of my Disney favorites, Finding Nemo. This design evokes contradicting reactions from me. I find it funny, yet I’m also appalled by it. I will definitely be reminded of this design when I head to the sandwich shop and order a tuna sandwich. On another note, I’d love to see how kids would react to this tee when they see their beloved cartoon characters dead. Pick up “Toony Fish” at Shirt.Woot today for only $10!

I haven’t fallen in love with many Shirt.Woot tees, but today is the day when the count is raised by one. This tee, titled “Gonna Make You Lunch,” puts a huge smile on my face and I can’t get enough of it. I do wonder what PB’s lyrical skills are like, though. Perhaps it goes a little something like this…

Yo my name is Peanut Butta and this is my jam
Don’t confuse that with the DJ ‘cause his name is really Sam
I’m spitting out these rhymes as you’re making some lunch
Spread me all over yo bread then add the DJ for extra punch
Make sure that we’re even and don’t put too much on
Or your kids will spit it out and say “What’s going on?”
“These sandwiches are whack and I do not like the taste.
Please, Mom, listen to PB&J ‘cause they know how to make it great!”

Who knows… maybe the peanut butter isn’t saying anything at all because he has no mouth and the jelly DJ is playing some trance beats. Regardless of what’s actually going on, I love this shirt!

$10 at Shirt.Woot, available in Mens S-3XL, Womens S-XL, and Kids 4-12
