Loving This Tee

Just last week, I got a package from Alex over at Dance Party Massacre. I didn’t know what tee I would be receiving, and I was extremely excited to open the mailer up as quickly as my little fingers could go. Inside this envelope were goodies and a tee that I had been eyeing on the DPM site for quite some time! “Fresh 2 Death” is one of my favorite tees from DPM’s second season, and I’m very excited to get the chance to review it!

As you can see, this design includes metallic ink. I’ve never had a tee with shimmery ink before, and I think that it was a perfect addition to this particular design. It would have been boring to see the coins and the “bling” be a plain bronze color without the glitter-effect. Instead, we get to see something that’s more true-to-life on this piece. I’m loving the latest $500 winner at Tilteed this week! Designed by lunchboxbrain, “Song Bird” features an illustration that’s perfect for music lovers. Although I wish that the sheet music were more visible, it’s still a beautiful piece to look at. You can pre-order this tee for $12 until next Tuesday and get free shipping with the code “LovingThisTee“!

Seeing all these animal tees lately makes me miss going to the zoo. One of the culprits for this is OMUNKY‘s “Harry Hippo” tee. Apparently, this hippo keeps getting his MP3 player stolen by the little bird, and now all of his settings are messed up. I’m thinking that all the music has been changed, too. I wonder what the bird uploaded to the music player… Could it be some pop tunes or some unexpected death metal? The hippo does appear to be a bit surprised, after all!

Harry Hippo” is printed on a recycled cotton t-shirt, and you can pick it up at OMUNKY for $22. Make sure to use the coupon code LOVINGTHISTEE to take 15% off your purchase!

Back in June, I wrote about a tee from Regal Clothing Co. called “Good Music I Dance No Good Music I Not Dance.” Just a few weeks ago, Regal Clothing was kind enough to send over a copy of the tee along with a bunch of extra goodies. I came home one day and unexpectedly saw a black box in my mailbox shipped all the way from the U.K. At that moment, I had a feeling that I was going to fall in love with this company.

Regal Clothing went above and beyond with their packaging. The tee was neatly folded inside the box and there were promotional cards, a sticker, a button, and two little candies. I’m a sucker for sweets, especially those from a different country, so the two individually wrapped treats were a major bonus.

This is the first time that I’ve received a t-shirt printed on Continental, and I’m very happy to say that, based on first impressions, I absolutely love Continental blanks! This tee is extremely soft and the fabric is neither too thick nor too thin. After throwing the tee into the wash, it felt even better! The shirt fits well and is not wide and boxy. It’s also not too long or too short.

In terms of print quality, the ink is nice and lightweight. The print is oversized and well-centered. There is also a small back print with the brand name. I am extremely pleased with Regal Clothing’s work and I would definitely love to own more of their tees in the future. There are plenty of designs to choose from in the Regal Clothing Co. online shop, so be sure to take a look around and pick up some tees for yourself. I give Regal Clothing two thumbs up!

What do I love more than well-designed shirts? Well-designed shirts for a cause! Make Beats Not Beat Downs has partnered up with Wotto for its two latest tees. MBNBD is a non-profit movement that exists to raise awareness about bullying and help to put an end to it. MBNBD donates 25% of its proceeds to established organizations whose goals are to prevent bullying. By partnering up with musicians, MBNBD gives a voice to the bullied.

Printed on both navy and black AA 50/50 tees, this Wotto creation is a great addition to MBNBD’s store. Featuring characters playing instruments, this design is one that people of all ages can wear. The MBNBD logo is printed on the bottom right hand corner on the back of the shirt. So if you’re looking for a tee that supports a cause that is composed of art on the front and a subtle logo on the back, then this is it. As a bonus, every order comes with stickers and buttons. There’s no better way to shop for tees than to know that you’re also helping do good in the world!

Regal Clothing Co.’s “Good Music I Dance No Good Music I Not Dance” is a tee that I would love to rock all over town. Its message is to the point and quite hilarious. Obviously I’m not going to dance if there’s no good music! I am sure that many of you can agree. Tired of your friends asking you why you’re not dancing and having fun? This t-shirt will let them know that the problem lies in the music, not you!

Since there aren’t that many good orange tees that I have encountered, this shirt gets two thumbs up from me. It’s perfect for the summertime! This tee manages to be simple, yet bold, and that’s exactly what I love about it. Regal Clothing Co. has just restocked all of its designs, so you can pick up this tee if it was sold out before.

£15.00 at Regal Clothing Co., available in Men’s S-XXL

Public Radio” is one of the coolest shirts I’ve seen in a long time. Lowdtown Friends & Freaks is a company run by Ray Masaki that started earlier this year. Each of the tees features a character in this fictional Lowdtown that Masaki has created, and DJ from “Public Radio” is my favorite so far. If you’re into fun, musically themed tees, then this t-shirt is worth a look!
