I haven’t reviewed a t-shirt in an extremely long time, so I think it’s time to change that. Today I’ll be reviewing T-shirts.com and the shirt that I received.
With a generic site name like T-shirts.com, I figured that the shop would primarily house novelty tees. I was correct in that assumption. Because of this, I’d like to focus my review on the website more than the shirt that I received. It’s just not possible to generalize the shop by one shirt, since the shop offers many different designs printed on different blanks by different printers.
With that said, if you like novelty tees, then T-shirts.com is a great place to shop! They have everything from band shirts to movie shirts to sports shirts. They even carry a bunch of different animal shirts, some of which are even more ridiculous than the unforgettable “Three Wolf Moon” design.
And for those who aren’t big on novelty shirts like me, you’ll be happy to hear that there are some artsy designs to browse through in the “Artist Designed” category. These include pieces by artists like Walmazan, Tasha Chapman, and Terry Fan. Read the rest of this entry »
SockMonkee (Chris Sandlin) recently released his new line, and I must say that all six of his new products look amazing. I was fortunate enough to get my hands on one of the designs called “Blue Like Jazz,” a t-shirt that I will be reviewing today.
“Blue Like Jazz” features a saxophone-playing owl that’s creating sweet tunes into the wee hours of the night. As a matter of fact, he’s having such a great time playing that the music is carrying him through the air. I love designs like this because you can’t help but feel calmer when you look at them. Comfy couch? Check. Big headphones? Check. Some sweet, sweet tunes to write to? Check. Alright, now I’m ready to share my thoughts about the newest OMUNKY product!
“MUNKY-Rhythm” is the latest addition to the OMUNKY line, and it’s now my favorite tee from the shop. I love music and I love a great t-shirt, so “MUNKY-Rhythm” fits the bill perfectly. This design features none other than a monkey listening to some tunes on his swanky new headphones. He looks like he’s really grooving to the beat.
But wait… The headphone jack isn’t even plugged in! Looks like someone’s too busy listening to the music inside his head to even notice. As long as it’s good imaginary music, I won’t judge.
If I had a trophy to give away for the most improved artist, that trophy would have to go to againstbound. Hector has become of my favorite tee artists of all time, and his work is constantly improving. When I think that I’ve seen the best work from him, he goes and tops it with an even better creation. I remember when I felt so-so towards his art a little over a year and a half ago. Now, it’s pretty much impossible for me to not love his latest designs!
When I heard that againstbound was going to have his third print with Tilteed, I was ecstatic! “Vinyl Frontier” is the name, and this illustration is just plain awesome. If you like music, space-related stuff, or just anything cool in general, then you should definitely check out this sweet new addition to the Tilteed catalog.
“Vinyl Frontier” will only be $12 for about 13 more hours at Tilteed (it will go up to $18 after that), so act fast if you love this design and want a nice discount for being one of the first to pick it up! As always, you can use the code “LovingThisTee” to save $2.
Does music make you happy? Do you like tees that send out peaceful vibes? Are you a sucker for anything acoustic? Do you simply enjoy unicorns or any mention of the word “unicorn”? If you answered yes to any of these questions, then check out the latest Tilteed Limited tee! Illustrated by Oatmeal, “This Song is About a Unicorn” is a beautiful tee that I simply cannot stop adoring. I wish that I were in this man’s presence now. I bet that he makes sweet, sweet music.
“This Song is About a Unicorn” will be up for sale at Tilteed for only 72 hours, so pick it up before it’s gone forever! It’s $12 and you can take $2 off with the code LovingThisTee. While you’re there, you can also check out the little interview I did with Oatmeal. I hope that you think that this is a beauty as much as I do!
Say hello to “House Music,” the latest Tilteed Limited design! I love puns, and this tee fits the bill perfectly. House music is one of the many genres of electronic dance music, but according to Randyotter, it’s literally a musically-inclined house DJing a live set for the community. Equipped with a trash can turntable and mailbox pitch shifter, this house is ready throw on some hot jams for its neighbors and for all of you! From now until noon Pacific Time on Thursday, this DJ will be taking your requests over at Tilteed. So what are you waiting for? Go join in on the fun and also read a little interview I had with Randyotter!
“House Music” will be up for sale for only 72 hours at Tilteed, so don’t delay! Don’t forget to use the coupon code “LovingThisTee” to take $2 off your order.
This is my first curation at Tilteed, and I would really love to know what you think! Also, if you are an artist and want a chance to be featured at Tilteed, please feel free to e-mail me at dunz0(at)tilteed(dot)com and we can discuss [Note: The 0 in dunz0 is a zero]
Why do people go clubbing if they don’t dance? This tee from Teknique Clothing would definitely be a great motivator for these folks to get on the floor and move to the beat! “Simon Says” has a very succinct message and is a wonderful take on the childhood game. I personally think that every DJ needs to own this sweet design! I’m not a huge fan of having profane language on tees if they don’t add to the design, but in this case, I give it a thumbs up.
You can pick up “Simon Says” at Teknique Clothing for £18.99 in several color variations. I’m not quite sure why the shop lets you pick from a bunch of tee colors if there are only four official ones (based on looking at the product titles). Either way, I think that the yellow on black colorway is hot!
