It’s time for yet another t-shirt review! Today I’ll be reviewing a shirt from LabCandy, a brand that launched last summer. The tee that I received is a sweet design (you see what I did there?) by Greg Abbott called “Candy Maniac.”

LabCandy, Greg AbbottThe shirt came nicely folded in a sealed orange plastic bag, which I thought was cool. I’m not a fan of clear or translucent mailers, though. Something about the way that you can see what kind of shirt lies inside the packaging makes me nervous about the parcel’s journey through shipment facilities. Nonetheless, this LabCandy tee obviously made it to me just fine! The shirt came packaged with some extra goodies: a sealed tube of blue powder candy and LabCandy pin.

For those of you who know me, you are aware of my love for designer toys.  I just found out that Kidrobot recently released a t-shirt version of Kidrobot 18, Frank Kozik’s Kidmutant, for its spring line. While your 8″ Kidmutant toy sits indoors with the rest of your vinyl collection, you can now have a Kidmutant to show off when you’re out and about!

Here’s a look at the toy (in case you haven’t seen it) and the new t-shirt:

Kidmutant, Kidrobot, Frank KozikThis is my favorite Kidrobot mascot to date, and I’m still bummed that I didn’t have the funds to pick up my very own Kidmutant when it released at Kidrobot. If you are a huge fan of Frank Kozik or simply love this mutant KR mascot, this new t-shirt definitely deserves some space in your closet or dresser!

You can purchase the Kidmutant t-shirt at Kidrobot for $40.

If you can recall, I did a review of a laFraise tee a couple of months ago. Today I’ll be reviewing another laFraise design, “Lights Camera, Animals!

Let’s start off with the basics. The t-shirt came in a sealed, custom-printed plastic bag, along with washing instructions and a laFraise sticker. As you can see, the shirt inside also has a custom hang tag. You’ll definitely remember that you got this shirt from laFraise. There’s no question about that! Read the rest of this entry »

Gryphony just launched yesterday, so now I’m going to do a quick review of their first shirt. Gryphony is a new curated t-shirt site that will have a new design available every 72 hours. The package promises fun, so let’s see what’s inside! Read the rest of this entry »
