This shirt is badass. I don’t think I need any other description.
I don’t see many t-shirt designs by J3Concepts these days, but when I do, I’m often elated! “Think Positive” is available at LTDTEE for about two and a half more days from the time this is posted, and I couldn’t be happier with the design. The piece is very minimal and just one color, something that I don’t expect from J3Concepts after seeing many of his previous t-shirt designs. Despite such a contrast with his other pieces, I love what I’m seeing. The design is simple and so is the message that it’s trying to get across, so the two go hand in hand quite nicely.
So it looks like Design By Humans is having yet another sale, this time its End of Summer Sale. What does this mean for you? Tons and tons of $15 t-shirts! I don’t know when their next sale will be, so if you have some recent favorites or missed out on the last big sale, now’s your time to buy some shirts.
Here are some of my recent favorites for your viewing pleasure.
“Knock Out and Never Tap Out” by zerobriant:
I’m not really a fan of MMA, but this design simply looks great. The bright blue color that I link to fun and general lightheartedness is juxtaposed with the image of an MMA fighter, something that I just wouldn’t normally pair together. I give it my thumbs up!
“Leader of the Pack” by againstbound:
If you’ve been following Loving This Tee, then you’ll know that I simply love againstbound’s illustrations. What I love about this shirt is that 1. it’s purple and, 2. I need to take the time to wrap my head around what it all means. I doubt that I will ever jump to a solid conclusion, but that’s why it’s so exciting to see a design like this!
“Apres Moi le Deluge” by mj00:
I love everything about this new piece by MJ. I also love the textures she uses in this piece, as it really gives the whole composition more depth and even more aesthetic appeal. If this ship is out for the purpose of whaling, they better think again. I think these whales are going to show them who’s boss.
“Type Rider” by mrdavenport:
I’ve been waiting to see this printed for a long time, and now the day has come. It’s a great piece for the summer and for the other seasons when you’re dreaming of summer. Definitely a clever design and just an all-around beautiful piece to look at!
Now that you’ve seen my picks, go and get your favorite designs at Design By Humans today!
So Threads or Tales isn’t officially launching until October 10, 2010 (10-10-10 is a cool date!), but they’re having a secret sale right now by releasing one design for just 24 hours. Call it a sneak peek of sorts, if you will. This first design is by Greg Abbott and it is called “Cyclops The Blind Pirate.” It’s available in both t-shirt and poster print form, and there’s even a little poem that goes along with the shirt.
What’s awesome about Threads or Tales is that all of the designs have a story behind them. I’m definitely looking forward to the full launch! For now, you can pick up “Cyclops The Blind Pirate” for $18 at Threads or Tales.
Maxime Archambault, also known as s3studio around the t-shirt world, is bringing us a happy design titled “Paint A Rainbow“, available for the next 3 days at Tilteed. This limited edition design shows us how rainbows are made. No… there aren’t double rainbows making rainbow babies, if that’s what you were thinking. There’s also none of that refraction business either. Instead, it’s quite simple. You just need a paint roller, some paint, and someone willing to take on the task of painting the sky!
I love how this rainbow doesn’t have a normal rainbow’s spectrum of colors. I’m a big fan of the color palette and I love the street art feel of the piece. What are your thoughts on “Paint A Rainbow”?
Bunnies have it rough! I bet none of them get a good night’s rest because they’re always worried about being eaten by a big predator. They shouldn’t have to put up with that. Instead, they should be having magical dreams of lush fields and rainbows. Unfortunately, this little guy in thunderpeel’s “Stormy Nightmares” has to tough it out every night. Dreams are just dreams for us, but for this bunny, they could all come true at any given moment. Doesn’t this t-shirt design just make you feel a little bit better about your life?
Pick up your copy of “Stormy Nightmares” by Brian Walline aka thunderpeel for just $12 at Tilteed. It’s a Tilteed Limited design, so it’ll be gone once the clock hits 0:00:00! Save an extra $2 by using the code “LovingThisTee“!
Miles To Go launched their Fall line today with 9 new pieces! They have some pretty incredible t-shirts in this drop, with my favorites being “Moby Dick” and “Life of Pi/Richard Parker.” These two designs are inspired by very popular novels, but they can definitely stand alone without any knowledge of the books. Such beautiful illustrations!
Be sure to check out the Miles To Go shop for the full line! You can purchase the new tees for $22.99.
