Casserole typhoons in the wintertime. Lakes jumping through the canopy jars.
I’ve spent more time trying to interpret this piece since the day it went up on Tilteed, but as you can see, I’m still rather unsuccessful. Nonetheless, the lack of a proper interpretation shouldn’t stop you from feasting your eyes on this marvelous piece by zackOlantern called “The Twilight Rider.”
Here’s a closer look at the colorful illustration:

I love being an art curator at Tilteed. It’s not even possible for me to pretend this isn’t true. Looking at t-shirt designs all day long is just too fun! But why am I talking about curating? Well, that’s because I have a new curation up at Tilteed.
I can recall the day when I first discovered Yema Yema‘s artwork. At first I was like “Huh?” but after I let it sink it a little, I was like “Oh my gosh, this is brilliant!” I get the same reaction to some music discoveries, and these bands/musicians always end up being my long-time favorites. I’m thinking that it’s a good thing that I reacted to Yema Yema in the same fashion, because I can definitely picture myself loving her artwork for a long, long time!
Without further ado, I’m happy to present to you “Woody Friends,” a delightfully quirky piece by Yema Yema. There isn’t a single thing that I don’t like about the design. Her characters are so unique, and I truly mean that. You can see for yourself. They’re like mixtures of robots and monsters, and I personally find them to be cute, creepy, and silly, all at the same time. These characters look like they’re all having a blast hanging out, and that’s exactly what summer’s all about!
Thanks for letting me share artwork with you, t-shirt wearers around the world! If any artists would like to send me designs to look at for curation in the Tilteed Limited line, please shoot me an e-mail at dunz0[at]tilteed[dot]com.
Fur Face Boy just revealed their summer series line up and it is looking mad fresh! I seriously want to wear all of these t-shirts this summer, especially the FFB Ice Pop and Summertime Bearmaibrick tees. Ah, what I would do to get them in my wardrobe right at this moment… I seriously cannot express to you how awesome I think these new shirts are. And if I could pull off wearing a tank, I’d be all over that too!
If you’re in the Dallas, TX area, you should definitely hit up the release party at Adikt Footwear this Saturday, July 24! Click here for more info on that.
Let me continue this simplistic design streak by showing you an awesome logo tee that I can’t get out of my head. “Big Drop” is one of the new graphic t-shirts found at Thriving Ink that I was surprised to see. Not only is it super simple, but I seriously think that it has magical powers that continuously draw me in. I guess you could call me crazy, but maybe you feel the same way too!
You can purchase “Big Drop” at Thriving Ink for $19.95. It’s printed on American Apparel Tri-Blend, meaning that it will be one insanely soft shirt that your torso will thank you for. There’s a seafoam colorway as well, if you prefer more color in your life.
Oh and while you’re at Thriving Ink’s shop, why don’t you check out the $15 Grab Bag deal that they have? For just $15, you can get 3 shirts from their previous line. Sounds like a pretty sweet deal to me, no?
As a special bonus, you can take 15% off with the Loving This Tee exclusive coupon “LOVINGTHISTEE.”
So I’m really enjoying seeing black and white designs lately. Here’s one from Ardentees (ARDT) that I love called “Black is the Night.” Sometimes a nice, relatively simple shirt like this is what I crave to pick out from my wardrobe. I love the patterns! What are your thoughts on the design?

Simplicity– I love it. Because of this, I am drawn to .Free Clothing‘s logo tee titled “.simple.” The design is nice and clean, and I’m going to go as far as to say that this black colorway is my all-time favorite piece from the store.
