Loving This Tee

I am always on the lookout for unique one-color designs. While there are plenty that aren’t all that special, sometimes you’re lucky enough to come across a piece that lures you in like an ice cream truck on an unbearably hot day. I’ve found the perfect example to show you today.

Check out “Toro” from Designkins. The print is all black and the character is relatively simple in terms of its shape and minimal details. While there aren’t any particularly intricate elements to help keep me focused on the illustration, it seems as though I do not need said elements. I already can’t stop looking at this shirt. The character is just so unique! His huge torso and biceps do not physically match his long and lanky legs, but they somehow fit together perfectly to form such a cool being. This tee manages to be loud without being obnoxious and this is something that I will applaud.

You can purchase “Toro” at Designkins for $16. This aqua shirt is perfect for the warmer weather that’s headed our way!

It looks like these mice have teamed up to show this curious cat a lesson in the latest Tilteed Limited tee. “El Plan” is designed by the incredible Wenceslao Almazan and shows a kitty that’s about to get a horrible headache. I don’t generally feel bad for kitties in these kinds of situations, but I sure feel bad for this unlucky fluffball. Poor kitty!

If you love this piece as much as I do, then head on over to Tilteed to pick it up for just $12! As always, you can use the code “LovingThisTee” to save $2 during checkout. You have less than 24 hours left, so don’t miss out on this fun design!

While you’re there, you can also check out my little interview with Walmazan. He’s awesome!

Threadless is celebrating its 10 year anniversary today with a HUGE SALE!! All tees have been marked down to $10 and all hoodies are now $30! This sale will only last until Saturday morning, so pick up your favorites before your size runs out.

I don’t think I learned about Threadless until around 2005, and I’m glad to have been able to watch this company grow to what it is today. Happy 10 years of being awesome, Threadless!

I meant to throw up this review much sooner, but then my computer did all sorts of funky things and I ended up losing documents and many pictures that I thought I had properly backed up. I apologize in advance for only having detailed pictures of only two of the tees. The print quality of the shirt missing from the review is the same as one of the included ones, though. That’ll teach me not to have multiple folders for tee stuff… Now on with the review!

This package came to me from a company based in London by the name of Worn By. They sell tees with designs that have been worn by famous icons in music, movies, and sports. I received three tees, but as stated earlier, I will only be able to show you two of them in detail. The tees all came packaged in their own sealed plastic bags, and they each had tags showing the significance of the design pinned to them. There were also two lookbooks included. Technicolor Typewriter” is the latest tee from ReThink Clothing that has brought back some good memories. When I was a little girl, I used to play with my aunt’s typewriter whenever she was finished using it. I hadn’t been exposed to any computers at the time, and I thought that the typewriter was the coolest thing ever. It was a Thai typewriter and since the Thai alphabet contains more symbols and characters than the English alphabet, there were so many keystroke combinations for me to have fun with. I enjoyed every single minute of typing random characters and pretending that I was writing scholarly papers like my aunt. Those were the days.

Technicolor Typewriter” is available at ReThink Clothing for $18.99 in both heather grey and white versions. Make sure to use the coupon code “Lovingthistee” to take 20% off!

Because Fuzzy Ink is getting ready to release its new line next week, there’s a sweet Spring Cleaning Sale going on now. There are eight tees on sale for just $12, including works by artists including Craig Watkins and Alex Solis. When these tees sell out, they’re gone forever. If you don’t have any Fuzzy Ink in your closet yet, now’s a great time to pick up some older styles in preparation for the Spring drop! Using the code “FuzzyLoving” will also give you an additional 15% off. That makes one tee less than ten bucks before shipping. Talk about awesome!

If you would like to see some sneak peeks of the new line, check out the Fuzzy Ink blog.

What often deters me from shopping online is the insane shipping cost. Well, SKILLA feels your pain and is offering free U.S. shipping for the entire month of March! If you’re outside of the country, don’t worry because Skilla has also dropped its international shipping costs. You can also use the Loving This Tee-exclusive coupon “LTTSKILLA” for an additional 15% off your purchase.
