Public Radio + Summer Sale
Posted June 19, 2009on:
“Public Radio” is one of the coolest shirts I’ve seen in a long time. Lowdtown Friends & Freaks is a company run by Ray Masaki that started earlier this year. Each of the tees features a character in this fictional Lowdtown that Masaki has created, and DJ from “Public Radio” is my favorite so far. If you’re into fun, musically themed tees, then this t-shirt is worth a look!
Printed on a white American Apparel tee, “Public Radio” takes the spotlight by featuring a one-of-a-kind character not seen anywhere else. The CYMK is a wonderful color scheme for this design, and I don’t think that any other colorway could have been more perfect. Masaki made DJ quite a stylish character, and it’s nice to see him have a unique urban style, as it fits his job description. I also love the bubbles coming out of the turntable that make it look like DJ is creating music right on your shirt and casting it to the whole Lowdtown world.
Right now Lowdtown is having their summer sale, where all tees are over 25% off! You can even get an additional 10% off by using the coupon code “lovingthistee”! If you like “Public Radio,” I’d suggest you pick one up now while they’re on sale. Check out their other amazing tees as well!
