I recently got a great new tee to review from SplitReason. If you’re a geek or gamer, then you most likely have heard of this brand. If you haven’t, then where have you been shopping? This site is perfect for you!
The shirt that I received is called “Mega Mistake,” and it is one of their older designs. I think it has gotten several reprints since it was first made available on the site. I was never good at playing Mega Man X on my Super Nintendo, but that didn’t stop me from loving the game so much.
Here’s a look at the full tee. The print is rather small in comparison to what I’m used to wearing, but it’s still quite nice. The print feels good and the colors look great against the royal blue Alstyle shirt. Read the rest of this entry »
So it looks like Design By Humans is having yet another sale, this time its End of Summer Sale. What does this mean for you? Tons and tons of $15 t-shirts! I don’t know when their next sale will be, so if you have some recent favorites or missed out on the last big sale, now’s your time to buy some shirts.
Here are some of my recent favorites for your viewing pleasure.
“Knock Out and Never Tap Out” by zerobriant:
I’m not really a fan of MMA, but this design simply looks great. The bright blue color that I link to fun and general lightheartedness is juxtaposed with the image of an MMA fighter, something that I just wouldn’t normally pair together. I give it my thumbs up!
“Leader of the Pack” by againstbound:
If you’ve been following Loving This Tee, then you’ll know that I simply love againstbound’s illustrations. What I love about this shirt is that 1. it’s purple and, 2. I need to take the time to wrap my head around what it all means. I doubt that I will ever jump to a solid conclusion, but that’s why it’s so exciting to see a design like this!
“Apres Moi le Deluge” by mj00:
I love everything about this new piece by MJ. I also love the textures she uses in this piece, as it really gives the whole composition more depth and even more aesthetic appeal. If this ship is out for the purpose of whaling, they better think again. I think these whales are going to show them who’s boss.
“Type Rider” by mrdavenport:
I’ve been waiting to see this printed for a long time, and now the day has come. It’s a great piece for the summer and for the other seasons when you’re dreaming of summer. Definitely a clever design and just an all-around beautiful piece to look at!
Now that you’ve seen my picks, go and get your favorite designs at Design By Humans today!
Bunnies have it rough! I bet none of them get a good night’s rest because they’re always worried about being eaten by a big predator. They shouldn’t have to put up with that. Instead, they should be having magical dreams of lush fields and rainbows. Unfortunately, this little guy in thunderpeel’s “Stormy Nightmares” has to tough it out every night. Dreams are just dreams for us, but for this bunny, they could all come true at any given moment. Doesn’t this t-shirt design just make you feel a little bit better about your life?
Pick up your copy of “Stormy Nightmares” by Brian Walline aka thunderpeel for just $12 at Tilteed. It’s a Tilteed Limited design, so it’ll be gone once the clock hits 0:00:00! Save an extra $2 by using the code “LovingThisTee“!
So we all know that zombies want brains, but did you know that there are brains out there that yearn for zombies? Well, now you do! Designed by Greg Abbott, “Zombies!” is a fun tee from Demighty that shows a little brain pining for some zombies to eat. What I love is that he’s wearing little socks. How awesome is that?
OMUNKY is swinging into April with a new design called “MUNKY-Swing.” They have also re-released an upgraded version of their “MUNKY-Tree” design, which I think looks fantastic. But let’s get back to talking about the new t-shirt…
Who does this little monkey think he is? Tarzan? Clearly he’s nowhere near Tarzan status if he has trouble holding on. This little guy still has a lot left to learn about the art of swinging on vines, but I bet that he’ll be a pro with some more practice and help from his MUNKY family. I’m pretty sure that he is already banged up enough from all of this falling, so let’s hope that it doesn’t take him many more trials to finally get the hang of it! (No pun intended.)
You can purchase “MUNKY-Swing” at OMUNKY for $22, and 5% of the sales will be donated to WildAid. Additionally, you can use the code “LOVINGTHISTEE” at checkout to take 15% off your order. This organic cotton tee is available in both men’s and women’s sizes, as well as in youth sizes.
Are you a fan of baseball? If so, then you will love the latest drop at Johnny Cupcakes! This small release includes a couple of hoodies and three tees. While the hoodies have absolutely nothing to do with baseball, the t-shirts surely do! What’s neat about these tees is that they have back prints that make them look baseball jerseys. I’m not really into baseball but I have to say that these tees look very nice, especially the logo ones!
Here’s what the back looks like for all of them:
You can purchase these new tees at Johnny Cupcakes for $35.99 each. They are all available in both men’s and women’s sizes.
Speaking of Johnny Cupcakes, have you stopped by the Suitcase Tour? I want to hear your stories!
So every time that a rabbit’s speed is compared to a turtle’s, the comparison is made on land. Obviously, rabbits are faster than turtles if they’re both moving at their top speeds on terrain. But what if we take this race to the water? ChildMirror shows us just how much bunnies struggle with swimming in the latest Tilteed Limited tee! “Race” is a hilarious piece depicting a race where a lone turtle is almost to the finish line and not breaking a sweat, while a trail of of bunnies attempts to catch up. That will teach these fuzzy creatures to stop bragging about their agility!

This design will slightly wrap around the tee, a first for Tilteed prints. You can purchase “Race” for $12 until Monday at noon Pacific Time before a new shirt goes up. Don’t forget to use the coupon “LovingThisTee” to take $2 off. But wait, that’s not all! if you’re planning on purchasing two or more tees, use the code “FEB50” to take $4 off each shirt*. That’s $8 a shirt if you’re buying two copies of the Tilteed Limited t-shirt!
(* code good through February)
Say hello to “House Music,” the latest Tilteed Limited design! I love puns, and this tee fits the bill perfectly. House music is one of the many genres of electronic dance music, but according to Randyotter, it’s literally a musically-inclined house DJing a live set for the community. Equipped with a trash can turntable and mailbox pitch shifter, this house is ready throw on some hot jams for its neighbors and for all of you! From now until noon Pacific Time on Thursday, this DJ will be taking your requests over at Tilteed. So what are you waiting for? Go join in on the fun and also read a little interview I had with Randyotter!
“House Music” will be up for sale for only 72 hours at Tilteed, so don’t delay! Don’t forget to use the coupon code “LovingThisTee” to take $2 off your order.
This is my first curation at Tilteed, and I would really love to know what you think! Also, if you are an artist and want a chance to be featured at Tilteed, please feel free to e-mail me at dunz0(at)tilteed(dot)com and we can discuss [Note: The 0 in dunz0 is a zero]
LadyUmbrella is finally launching their store tomorrow! Are you pumped? I surely am!
A few weeks ago, I received an amazing package sent to me all the way from Ireland. It’s always wonderful to receive products from outside the U.S. because it’s the closest that I’ll get to experiencing these countries! Anyways, in this envelope were a neatly packaged shirt, stickers, buttons, and a note that I assume is placed into every order. The tee that I’ll be reviewing today is titled “LadyUmbrella is Friends with David Attenborough.” You can click most of the images in this post to enlarge them.
To start things off, I’d like to say that LadyUmbrella‘s shirt packaging definitely looks professional. The tee was neatly folded and placed into a clear plastic bag. The small goodies also made me even happier when I discovered them. Something about small pins and stickers does it for me!
This tee titled “Pop’s Adventure,”brought to you by Monster Pop Apparel, is quite fun to look at! What’s this portly monster doing in outer space? And why is Pop’s right hand gone? By the looks of it, he’s on one serious mission. Let’s just hope that the rocket contains enough fuel to get him wherever he needs to go! Otherwise, I’m not sure how swimming in space will work with one hand and no legs.
You can purchase “Pop’s Adventure” for $20 at Monster Pop. It’s also available in two other colorways (black and cranberry), but supplies are extra limited. If your size is still available, I suggest that you pick up your favorite now!
