Do you like going to the zoo or simply love wild animals? If so, you may enjoy what Zooshirts has to offer. Zooshirts is a company that is dedicated to promoting animal and global conservation. They donate 10% of their sales to organizations that support wildlife, so you can feel good about helping out the earth in some way with your purchase. “Giraffe Tee” is one of my favorites. I love how the name of the animal is printed on the front while the actual animal is printed on the back. Zooshirts also offers other animal tees including pandas, flamingos, and zebras. Head on over to Zooshirts today to pick up a giraffe tee or a shirt with your favorite zoo animal!

Today’s the big day for Tilteed ! Tilteed has just officially launched with two wonderful designs. The first place prize of $3500 went to rawroutloud (Ray Masaki) for “Get A Job,” and the second place prize of $1500 went to a.mar.illo (Sven Palmowski) for “Expansion.” Both of these designs deserved it! They were definitely high up on my list. Congratulations! Continue to the end of the post for a special contest to celebrate this fantastic launch.
Printed on a turquoise American Apparel tee, “Get A Job” is a great autobiographical piece. According to Ray, “instead of looking for a job this summer, [he] spent a lot of my time doing random stuff and eating cup noodles.” Although I had a job this summer, I can definitely relate because I devoured many containers of cup noodles within the past few months. The color combination is stellar and I cannot wait to get my hands on this tee!
As for “Expansion,” a.mar.illo depicts a world that has quickly formed. The illustration is extremely detailed and I love just how intense his world is. There are numerous skyscrapers and this tee shows just how intricate and busy the world is. a.mar.illo has selected a great combination by making this a black and white design because a world so complex needs some simplicity to balance it out. I absolutely wouldn’t mind getting my hands on this shirt either!
You can pick up “Get a Job” and “Expansion” for $12 (free shipping with code LovingThisTee) for the next 3 days. If you would like to see how Tilteed tees look and feel, check out my last post where I review Dale Edwin Murray’s “Bombs Away!“
As a way to celebrate the official launch, Loving This Tee has partnered up with Tilteed to bring you a contest that will get one lucky participant the two winning launch contest designs. How cool is that? All you need to do are the two following things:
1. Sign up for an account at Tilteed
2. Come back to this Loving This Tee page to post your profile link along with finishing this sentence: “Loving This Tee needs to give me Tilteed tees because…”
This contest will go on until 11:59pm EST on Wednesday, August 5th, 2009. I will be announcing the winner the following morning. Make sure your e-mail address is somehow linked to your comment, so that I can contact you if you’re the winner! I look forward to reading all of your creative reasons. Good luck!
Tilteed is officially launching tomorrow at noon and announcing two winners for their launch competition. Who’s excited? I sure am! I picked up a copy of “Bombs Away!” when the shop opened, and I received it in the mail a few days ago. Let me just start off by saying that Tilteed has greatly exceeded my expectations! Tilteed prints on American Apparel blanks, so I knew that the tee itself was going to feel great. I was glad to discover that the print was also soft and not just the shirt. The colors of the design are just like those seen in the mock-up on the website. The print is well-aligned and also looks like it does in the product picture.
Ban T-shirts is a left-wing, liberal company that sells tees supporting such views. Their tee topics range from war to the environment. A few days ago, I received a t-shirt from Ban T-shirts that is perfect for proponents of evolution. “Dinosaurs Against Creationism” is a tee that will let you tell the world that evolution is where it’s at. Creationists believe that the earth is merely 6,000 years old. This is clearly a problem for the dinosaurs, as they are much older than that! I love the illustration because it looks like a quick and simple sketch, sending out the message that you don’t need a Ph.D. to know that evolution exists.
If you grew up watching Popeye cartoons like I did, then you’ll be sure to love this Regal Clothing Co. tee that celebrates such a magnificent character. Created by Elzie Crisler Segar in 1929, Popeye the Sailor is a hero that is well-known worldwide. He is also the only fictional character that I know of who relies on a vegetable (spinach to be exact) for his power and strength. I remember watching Popeye defeat Bluto and save Olive Oyl on numerous counts when I was growing up in Thailand, and this tee brings back the memories. I love the color combination of “Popeye Punch,” and it is a wonderful addition to the line of shirts at Regal Clothing Co. Celebrate Popeye’s 80th birthday by picking up this shirt, and use the coupon code “SUMMER” to take an additional 25% off your order!
Today marks the launch of Cherry Sauce, a new clothing company whose mission it is to bring back fun with their quirky and colorful designs. There are many designs that I love, and one of them is “Jasonosaurus.” I absolutely love the illustration style that this design has to offer. It’s lighthearted and definitely fun! I admire the creativity that Cherry Sauce has put into their tee descriptions. It’s wonderful seeing a little story behind the visuals. The description of “Jasonosaurus” says, “Jason, in a fit of rage, stole a dinosaur suit and drank so many energy drinks that he changed into a city-destroying monster.” Just watch Jason go as he destroys the town on his energy drink high. This reminds me of the Rugrats and their toy Reptar. It doesn’t get more fun than that!

In case you haven’t heard about the big sale going on at Design By Humans, you’ll be happy to hear that tees are as low as $5! In this post, I will be writing about one of the $5 tees that are offered. I have admired “Memory Ln.” since it came out last year, but never got the chance to pick one up until now. With a bargain like this, I couldn’t refuse to let this tee pass me by! Designed by ste7en, “Memory Ln.” is a road map that ultimately depicts a human brain. The various streets include “College St.” and “Crush Dr.” The left sleeve also features a heart as a compass rose. If you don’t have many CMYK shirts or just love CMYK tees, this will be a wonderful addition to your closet! You can also get an additional 10% off during the sale by using the coupon code U0LER6 or UQDB6J. Don’t let this deal pass you by!
We’ve done it, folks! If you saw and voted for this t-shirt within the past four days, you’ll be happy to hear that “Three Keyboard Cat Moon” has received the highest score with the greatest amount of votes and comments ever on Threadless, with 3,791 people giving it an average of 4.48 out of 5. And all of this only took a few days. That is insane! Although I wish the price tag were much lower, I might just bite the bullet and pick one up. I can’t get enough of Keyboard Cat, so I think it’s fitting if I rock three of them on one shirt! These tees are all on special order, so there is no way to tell how long you could procrastinate on buying this shirt.
Here is the Keyboard Cat video if you have yet to see it:
And here is the Three Wolf Moon shirt that spread like wildfire over the internet a few months ago:
Go get yours today before the chance disappears!!

Diktat6 (Myspace link) is a relatively new shirt company run by Andrew Lawandus that currently operates through Big Cartel. Andrew was kind enough to send me one of the designs in the store called “City of Flames,” which caught my eye right away. I instantly fell in love with the use of purple flames instead of other ordinary colors such as red or light blue. Using the resultant color of the combination of red and blue achieves a much more stylish fire than what is typically seen. Since purple is a popular color in the clothing industry right now, it’s nice to see a great design putting the color to good use.
What do I love more than well-designed shirts? Well-designed shirts for a cause! Make Beats Not Beat Downs has partnered up with Wotto for its two latest tees. MBNBD is a non-profit movement that exists to raise awareness about bullying and help to put an end to it. MBNBD donates 25% of its proceeds to established organizations whose goals are to prevent bullying. By partnering up with musicians, MBNBD gives a voice to the bullied.
Printed on both navy and black AA 50/50 tees, this Wotto creation is a great addition to MBNBD’s store. Featuring characters playing instruments, this design is one that people of all ages can wear. The MBNBD logo is printed on the bottom right hand corner on the back of the shirt. So if you’re looking for a tee that supports a cause that is composed of art on the front and a subtle logo on the back, then this is it. As a bonus, every order comes with stickers and buttons. There’s no better way to shop for tees than to know that you’re also helping do good in the world!
